Doug was born in Denver, Colorado and moved to Colorado Springs in 1985. He and his wife Kitsen (a Colorado Springs native) have raised three fantastic sons in beautiful Colorado Springs. Doug played college baseball at Denver University where he received his B.S.B.A., M.B.A. and Juris Doctorate degrees. Doug also played professional baseball in the Montreal Expos organization before retiring in 1980. He has coached baseball, soccer and basketball in the Pikes Peak area for over 20 years and currently serving in his second year as the head baseball coach at Air Academy High School.
Doug’s law practice focuses on trusts and estates, business representation, real estate and charitable giving from the basic to the highly complex and bizarre. He has been in private practice in Colorado since 1985 and is a Principal at Forbush Goldberg PLLC.
Doug is the co-author of four books on estate planning, one book of poetry and a book for baseball catchers. He is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and sits on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations. He lectures frequently on estate and business planning issues to audiences that include attorneys, CPAs, financial advisors as well as normal people.
